SmartWatt entered into a Strategic Sustainability Consulting Contract with the University of California, Irvine to perform an energy audit to identify interior and exterior lighting retrofit opportunities for the campus’ medical center. From that initial engagement, a lighting project was developed, which included interior and exterior lighting upgrades with advanced lighting controls. The project was completed in conjunction with the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) to ensure compliance with standards and requirements throughout each stage.
